Patrick Chorus

The Patrick Chorus is taught by Mrs. Cook, Ms. Wildes and Ms. Lyons. It meets every Wednesday and Friday mornings from 7:00 a.m. - 7:45 a.m. Chorus is open to all 4th and 5th grade students.

The purpose of Chorus is to give students a chance to learn how to sing, read music, dance, and act. Ms. Cook hopes to instill in students the value of music and how it touches everyone all over the world. In addition, the Patrick Chorus is a link to the surrounding community of Buford. We are so excited about the performances we will have this year.

This year, our Chorus will be presenting a musical production filled with singing talent as well as instrumental talent. We will be performing lots of Choral singing music as well as having a handbell group, an Orff instrumental group, and an African drum group.
*Choral group – singing in different parts
*Instrumental group – playing the bass, alto, and soprano xylophones, metallophones, glockenspiels, and bass bars.
*Handbell group – playing the handbell tone chimes
*African drum group – performing drum line chants
