Reading Spots Book Club

Reading Spots Book Club, a club for students who love to read and talk about books, is sponsored by Ms. S. Scott, Mrs. Hobbs, Mrs. Bridgewater, and Ms. Cone. We will meet on the first and third Thursday of each month from 3:15-4:00 p.m. Our first meeting will be Thursday, September 1st, in the Mary Patrick Media Center. Due to the nature of this club, students will be asked to apply for membership. Applications will be available August 23rd and are due August 26th for all interested students in grades 4 and 5.

Again, this is a club for students who love to read and talk about books. The selected list of books includes fiction, non-fiction, and biographies and ranges from fourth to sixth grade reading levels. The final goal of this club is participating in the Gwinnett County Reader's Rally, a competition between elementary schools in a "Quiz Bowl" format using the selected books.
