Science Club

The Science club will provide students with enriched learning experiences. It will be an extension of the Science curriculum and will allow students to have more time doing the things they have enjoyed the most. Students will also enjoy activities in the Science club that will not be available in the regular classroom because of time constraints and class size. Students will explore with hands-on activities that showcase chemical and physical changes, states of matter, simple machines, and more.

Science Club is taught by Mr. Williams and Ms. Askew. It will meet on Tuesday mornings from 7:10-7:45. This year, there will be one eight-week session of Science club.  Club meeting dates are: 9/20, 9/27, 10/18, 10/25, 11/8, 11/15, 11/29, 12/6.

Science Club is open to fourth and fifth graders and is limited to 20 students that return signed permission slips to Mr. Williams on or before September 9th.
**  There is a $5 fee for each student to cover the cost of consumable materials.
** Parents may drop off students at 7:10 at the front of the school in the bus lane and report directly to the Science Lab.
